Chima Anya’s been a name that’s been flying around the office for a while now, bringing the funk back to UK Hip-Hop in a Rootsy / Dilla flavour… We’ve had his album ‘New Day’ on play and its sounding damn good!! UK Hip-Hop’s needed an artist like Chima to inject some new life into it.

Chima recently tore down the Oxford 02 Academy when he supported Jay Electronica last month and blew the roof off the Brother Ali show at Cargo earlier in the week! Anyway check this clip of the track ‘Death’ and if the productions anything to go by i’m sure you will want to check out some more of his stuff.
