But have you ever wondered how this vinyl is made, it certainly looks more complicated than producing CD’s. I came across this great Vinyl Producing House, here is there story….

In the short time since its inception in 2001, Vinyl Factory Manufacturing (Ex Portal Space Records) has established itself as a leading manufacturer of quality record pressings. Everything and everyone in the plant is dedicated to the provision of a fast, consistent and reliable supply to meet the needs of the customer.

As the inheritors of EMI’s equipment, knowledge and experience our roots go back to the very origins of record discs as a carrier of sound. This heritage includes EMI’s Type 1400 press. All our records are made on these machines which are the result of many years of design and development and are widely recognised as the best in the world.

The Vinyl Factory’s manufacturing philosophy recognises the vital role of people and to this end it has retained key staff from the former EMI Records plant to form the basis of a team who are proud to carry on the historic traditions associated with the best in the music industry.

Featuring thirteen filth-ridden riddims, TBOT hits you like the first morning shot of morphine, rushing down your ear canal straight into the blood stream.

This particular strain is looking like having one of the worst effects see to date. Virus come hard on TBOT delivering banger after banger, tracks like ‘ANYTHING’ produced by KROMESTAR, ‘MOVE IT’, the virally devastating ‘TALK TO FRANK’ also recently featured in CHANNEL 4’S SKINS and the terminally ill ‘CRAZY’ cause irreversible damage!

Following on from a fantastic 2009, which saw VS continue to spread across Europe and the US, with shows from Paris to Prague and Hackney to Hollywood 2010 looks set to continue at the same devastating gradient.

First up is the MIAMI MUSIC CONFERENCE in March, followed by GLASTONBURY and a full US tour in July!!

UK Hip-Hop’s needed an artist like Chima to inject some new life into it.

Chima recently tore down the Oxford 02 Academy when he supported Jay Electronica last month and blew the roof off the Brother Ali show at Cargo earlier in the week! Anyway check this clip of the track ‘Death’ and if the productions anything to go by i’m sure you will want to check out some more of his stuff.
