‘Red’ is the latest offering from Bristols mighty Laid Blak- if you dont know…get to know!! Their music has been described as ‘Street Soul’. Influenced by Marley, Studio One, Stevie Wonder, Carnival Music, Marvin Gaye, Gospel and church music, their myspace says: ‘they just mash it all up and see what comes out!!..’ Theres a bunch of remixes out there- check the Interface one feat. Redskin mc (Interface producing some grimey drums beats right now- one to watch- trust me!!)
